My dear Sir

I am very sorry indeed that you should have the trouble of waiting a second time about the money I owe for the orchestral parts of Zemira and Azor which you so very kindly got written out for me. I can asure you that my respect in you is too great and my admiration of your genious is of too long a standing its allow one willinly to be the mean of causing you the slightest inconvenience, and I will now tell you the reason why the money hat not sent to Cassell before. When I went to London last june the first thing I did was to call at Mr Rothschild to get an order on your banker Mr Pfeiffer but they told me at Rothschilds that they could not give me any order for money on a bank at Cassell and they could not tell me any place in London where I could(???) get such a thing.
I then thought I would bring the money to Cassell my self as I hoped(?) to have passed through that place in August with Mrs Robinson but unfortunately we were retained(???) so long in Paris that we were unable to go to Germany. I am ashamed to say that this small debt since my return to Ireland had nearly escaped my memory and I must now also tell you that it is only very lately that the Bank in Dublin has commenced issuing bills like the one I now(???) have the pleasure to enclose, which is for £ 3. Pounds and I will thank you to make a present of what even money is over the account to the person who copied the music.
I remain with much respect

Most faithfully yours
Joseph Robinson
