My dear & honoured Friend
I am full of regret that I cannot have the pleasure of having your Sinfonia2 tomorrow – but my leg continous so painful and weak, that my Surgeon forbids me to use it any more than is absolutely necessary to move about the house.
I must muse myself for ”Jessonda,“ which, even if I am carried to the Theatre, I must hear.
