You will easily believe what a mortification it has been to me not to have seen you before now. Margaret has told you how lame I am, and I am directed to rest my leg as much as possible, if I have any wish to get the free use of it again.
I am therefore oblidged to be quiet. I am looking forward to the great pleasure of seeing you & Mad. Spohr at Gresham College on Monday at 5 oClock2, till where
