My dear Sir,
Some of the Members of the Musical Institute propose to wait on you at your residence on Wednesday moning at half past ten, when I hope that I shall be able to have the pleasure of accompanying them.1
Sir George Smart is very anxious to arrange with you and Madame Spohr for a visit to our part of the country.2 He is coming to town to be present at the first representation of Faust.
