My dear Sir,
I regret I did not see you yesterday but I am favored by your message from Mr Pouteau(???) and will immediately repeat it to the president and Council of the Musical Institute. Enclosed is an account of the Society which is but just formed. The reading room is very near your residence and you will find there the Foreign Publications connected with Music.
