The bearer of this is a young friend of mine – by name Edw. Fitzwilliam. I think he has considerable talent for composition, and is anxiuos to be allowed the great honour of dedicating a Mass to you Will you do him the favour to look over the Partitur, and allow him to wait on you, at some future day for your reply?
