Mr. Davison presents his respects to Dr Spohr and would be most proud if Dr Spohr would honor the concert of the Musical World (on Wednesday morning 2‛o clock, at the Hanover Square Rooms) with his presence.1 Messrs Joachim, Sainton, Hill & Rousselot will have the honor to perform one of the quartets of Dr Spohr. Mr. Davison had the pleasure of meeting Dr Spohr at the Beethoven Festival in 1845, on the steam-boat at Nonnenwerth2 and at the Hotel de L’Etoille d’or3 – and he trusts that Mad. Spohr in good health. Mr. Davison4 also takes the present opportunity of explaining(???) the best gratification that he received from the performance of Dr Spohr’s great work, The Fall of Babylon, at Exeter Hall5, on Friday last –
