In reply to your very friendly letter, Mr. Haupt requests me to state that, as it is his intention to leave Frankfurt in about three weeks, on his way home to Leipsic, he purposes1 doing himself the honour of waiting upon you and will personally lay his Musical Compositions in your hands.
Allow me to thank you for the prompt and friendly answer you gave to my former letter2, and3 permit me to4 attestain a hope that you will do all in your power to advance the views and further the interest of Mr. Haupt, who I am confident meris such patronage – his success will be the entire work of your own hands.
