I am desired by the Directors of the Philharmonic society to thank you for your polite communication, since the accept of which I have written to M. Siegl at Leipsic enquiring when your Overture is likeley to appear, and requesting that he will, with your permission, have a Partition transcribed for them at his earliest convenience.
They are also anxcious to obtain the Quartett Concerto, which upon enquiry they understand has not yet arrived in London.
