Sir

I am desired by the Directors of the Philharmonic Society to say they shall feel highly gratified should you have any new Compositions which you could allow them the honour of performing at the Concerts of the ensuing season, the first of which is fixed for the 16th of March. Should you favor them with any such works they would be greatly obliged by an early intimation(?) of it, in order to do them more justice by sufficient Rehearsals, which they can commens with greater facility previous to their commencement. Hoping to have the pleasure of hearing from you

I am, Sir
Your obed. Servant
W. Watts.
Secretary.
